企業への忠誠心は時代遅れか

Do you think company loyalty is outdated?

Depending on companies’ philosophy and other situations, the answers may well vary, and they all make sense, but in my view, while workers’ loyalty is becoming outdated, executives’ one is still necessary. Now let me explain the details.

First, modern companies no longer need workers’ loyalty, because the employment model has changed. In the past, workers had lifelong employment and received seniority pay, which encouraged their loyalty to the company. Nowadays, however, both companies and workers are seeking different paths. While employees switch jobs for improved pay and working conditions, companies seek personnel with up-to-date knowledge and skills.

On the other hand, the law still requests corporate executives to be loyal to the company, to secure shareholders’ trust. If executives feel free to betray the company, it will not only harm the company’s reputation, but also damage shareholders. Thus, executive loyalty should be a requirement as long as the LLC system exists in our world.

Therefore, I conclude that while workers’ loyalty to the company is disappearing, management should remain loyal to the success of the company. Thank you for your attention. [182 Words Type-Z]
