日本の臓器移植はもっと励行されるべきか

Should more organ transplants be more widespread in Japan?

This is a very sensitive topic: depending on what we are, the answers may well vary, and they all make sense, but in my view, Japan should perform more organ transplants. Now let me explain the details.

First, statistics have shown that many Japanese people need organ transplants for serious illnesses, such as type one diabetes, that can only be treated through transplants. But Japan lacks both willing organ donors and trained medical professionals in the country. As a result, many patients pass away before they receive medical care, which is a serious problem.

Next, I understand some may have ethical concerns about this technology, but as long as it follows proper guidelines, it could enhance the quality of life for many. Plus, the UN Sustainable Development Goals have listed “ensuring good health” as one of their key challenges. That’s why we must try every promising technology available to achieve the goal.

Therefore, even though organ transplant is a relatively new type of treatment, we can be optimistic about its clinical application and find way to improve our quality of life. Thank you for your attention. [186 Words Type-O]
